Before we get started on
great Getaway insights I want to remind you about a couple of time
changes, the first is on WTVS, look for us at 11:30 on Saturday the
second is WKAR in Lansing, we have moved to their Create channel and
we can be found Tuesdays at 3:30pm and WKAR World on Sundays at 6:30
pm.
Great Getaways is
excited to bring you a new show this week. We spotlight outdoor
activities on the water in the Lake St. Clair area.

Tune into WTVS in Detroit
Our
Detroit PBS affiliate, WTVS, which airs Great Getaways in Detroit and
metro Detroit areas and
Canada, has scheduled our show
for the
11:30 a.m. Saturday time slot for your viewing
pleasure. Join viewers in 13 states and across Canada for our
television travel series that spotlights a wide variety of
destinations and talks to the locals about vacation and recreation
opportunities.

Oldest (and sometimes coldest) but always the most fun winter
festival continues this weekend - January
24-25-26. It
will be a balmy 13 degrees for the Polar Dip on the 25th at 1 p.m.
