Grey Bruce was created by Mother Nature, and we think she owned a motorcycle, or so they say. Bound by Lake Huron to the West and Georgian Bay to the North, there is a ton of coastline to ride. Combine it with the Beaver Valley, Blue Mountain, Sauble Beach and the Bruce Peninsula, all located a few hours outside of Toronto, and you've got the perfect weekend ride with your crew. |

We started the day at the Talisman resort and headed out for a hardy breakfast. The Beaver Valley is one of Ontario's most spectacular natural features. The area provides four seasons relaxation, excitement, recreation and tourism facilities in unspoiled countryside just a short drive from the Greater Toronto area or US border crossings. |

We soon would be coming to the town that holds the Guinness world record for the most scarecrows, Meaford Ontario. The ride through town was as nice as any along the road. We decided to make our first stop at the Meaford Harbor to stretch our legs and and grab a drink before heading back on the road. |

We recommend crossing Port Huron/Sarnia, the Bluewater Bridge, and taking Highway 21 right up the shoreline into Grey/Bruce. Visitors can continue to use such documents as their birth certificates and drivers' licenses to cross the Canada-U.S. border by land and sea (including ferries). |

Well it was back on the road again but this time it would be to have lunch at a place that is suitably called Ted’s Range Road Diner. |

Inglis Falls is a must stop on any tour through Grey County.
We’ve been here before in other shows but never on a motorcycle. Its easy access off of Grey Road 18 makes it the perfect picture stop. From Grey Road 18 turn left onto Inglis Falls Road, signage will direct you to the entrance of the Inglis Falls Conservation Area. |

The City of Owen Sound is a smooth blend of urban and natural attractions. Clear blue water, relaxing beaches and a bright sky are set against lush green valleys and rugged limestone cliffs. Hidden delights—sparkling streams and waterfalls, secret gardens of exotic ferns and rare orchids along inviting trails—are all close to the urban conveniences and amenities of a thriving Ontario city. |

Simply follow this route all the way to Wiarton\, stopping at Big Bay for Ice Cream and Bruce's Caves to stretch your legs. Once in Wiarton after you take your picture at the Wiarton Willie statue, you can head back to Owen Sound on Grey Road 17 or continue on up the Peninsula. |

Majestically carving through scenic Georgian Bay, the MS Chi-Cheemaun is the largest passenger/car vessel on the Great Lakes. Completing the 30-mile route between Tobermory and South Baymouth in less than two hours, the ‘Big Canoe’, as it is known in native Ojibwa, can transport 638 passengers and 143 cars. |

The deep and sparkling waters at the mouth of Georgian Bay are home to Fathom Five - Canada's first National Marine Conservation Area. The park preserves a rich cultural legacy that includes 22 shipwrecks and several historic lightstations. Fathom Five’s freshwater ecosystem contains some of the most pristine waters of the Great Lakes. The rugged islands of the park are a reminder of the impressive lakebed topography found beneath the waves. |

Set beneath the majestic Niagara Escarpment, this little lighthouse has endured more hardship than the mariners it guided! The first light was established in 1903 and was rebuilt several times due to the harsh conditions of Georgian Bay. Automation in 1969 finally replaced the attractive structure with a metal post and light until a group of high school students built a replica model that stands in its place today. |

The Daytona Beach of the North. Sauble Beach in itself is a destination where you can cruise the strip all day. Where else can you ride you bike on the beach for 4 miles? (Please note: small day use fee may apply). Bruce Road 13 takes you north from Highway 21 and winds its way along the many cottages that dot the shoreline. When you hit the only set of traffic lights, turn left toward the beach and get your picture taken under the Sauble Beach sign. |

Founded by Captains John Spence and William Kennedy as a trading and fishing post in 1848 and incorporated by an act of Parliament on July 24, 1858, Southampton is named after England's famous seacoast town, with the High (main) Street and charming houses and cottages along tree-lined streets. Marine heritage is preserved here with the Chantry Island Lighthouse, the "storm baskets" at the harbour mouth, the plans for rebuilding the long dock, which made Southampton the perfect Harbour of Refuge on Huron, and the Marine Coast Gallery at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre as just a few examples. |
